Third time is the charm? Bellator 165: "Chandler vs. Henderson" takes place at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., on Nov. 19, 2016, featuring a Spike TV-televised main event between reigning Lightweight champion "Iron" Michael Chandler against former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 155-pound champion "Smooth" Benson Henderson.

Earlier that evening, Bellator will try to get "Baby Slice" Kevin Ferguson Jr. his first professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fight. The first attempt fell through when he was injured before Bellator 160 in the fight against armenian welterweight, and the second fell through at Bellator 162 when Slice's opponent, Ray Bing, missed weight.

The son of the late Kimbo Slice told  that he has been re-booked for Bellator 165; however, no opponent has yet to be announced. Presumably it won't be Bing, although it could be his original opponent Jonathan Tomasian from Bellator 160. Whichever fight Bellator makes has to match up suitably well with Ferguson's level of inexperience ... and 170-pound frame.
